ExploGuard Explosion Vents (Steel Company in Indiana, USA):
"We had a situation that caused our rotary hearth furnace (RHF) at our plant to go down and we required a fast track delivery of 200 explosion vents to incorporate into the RHF design before we started back up. Our downtime is very expensive, so finding a cost effective technically competent vendor was important, but a reliable one that would keep schedule commitments was equally important. ExploGuard Explosion Vents & Fracture Clip Release Doors (OEM in Canada):

ExploGuard Fracture Clip Release Doors & Discharge Hoods (Cement Company in Indiana USA):

HIS Custom Engineered & Fabricated 108 inch Butterfly Valve (State of California Agency USA):

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
HIS Custom Engineered & Fabricated 108 inch Butterfly Valve
Henderson custom engineered & fabricated 108 inch 39,000 lb. butterfly valve for the State of California. At source inspection the valve was found to be leaktight at 110 psi. The valve was designed such that the disc retained seal has since been replaced at an outage while the valve was still in line and was found again to be leaktight after startup.
HIS Custom Engineered & Fabricated Turbine Isolation Damper for Power Plant
Henderson also designed and built a 110,000 lb. turbine isolation damper which stretched 20 feet high, 38 feet long and has a 5.5 foot face to face for Bechtel for a power plant that was seismically qualified in house at Henderson for service in an earthquake zone and is commissioned in Mexico. The damper was source inspected and found to be leaktight across its entire 65 linear feet of inflatable seal. The gate itself weighed in excess of 20,000 lbs and can be fully closed and sealed in less than 5 minutes by the push of a button on its custom control system panel.
